Adrienne Bousian is a seasoned professional with a passion for social justice and democracy. With an MA in Sociology, with an emphasis in Social Inequality, from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a BA in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego, Bousian has developed a deep understanding of power dynamics and social issues. She has worked in various organizations, including Hirsch Philanthropy Partners, where she serves as Senior Director. Bousian was formerly Vice President of Public Affairs at Planned Parenthood Northern California and Planned Parenthood Northern California Action Fund. She is also an expert in strategic communications, having served as a Strategic Communications Consultant at Independent Consultant. Bousian has been part of several political campaigns, including Boxer for U.S. Senate Campaign, where she was Northern California Political Director. Before that, she was Deputy State Director for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, serving as Northern California Director and Field Representative. Bousian was also the California Access Project Coordinator at CARAL/NARAL Pro-Choice California.
