Kirsten McGregor has had a diverse and accomplished career spanning over 28 years. She is currently the CEO and co-Founder of Electrica Technology PBC, a start-up Public Benefit Company focused on innovative plasma energy technology. Her expertise includes entrepreneurial ventures, strategic planning, business development, and marketing execution across industries such as media, telecommunications, law, technology, and non-profit organizations.

Prior to her current role, Ms. McGregor founded MycoEarthworks, a green and sustainable mycoremediation company leveraging innovative fungal technology. She was also the Reno General Manager & Publisher for the Sierra Nevada Media Group, where she focused on media innovation and excellence.

Ms. McGregor is a passionate advocate for global gender empowerment, having served as Associate Director of the Worldwide Network for Gender Empowerment at Fielding Graduate University, a role which included being a representative to the United Nations with special consultative status to ECOSOC.

Her previous roles as Founder, Executive Director of ForestLIVE and CEO of Global Green Carbon - Nicaragua S.A. demonstrate her commitment to Agriculture, Forestry and Land-Use (AFOLU) initiatives and carbon financing strategies. Kirsten's international recognition includes a GGC project in Nicaragua, which was awarded by the Global Canopy Programme for its innovative model of sustainability and profitability.
