David Gormley is a highly accomplished Manager in the field of Data & AI within Avanade's Azure Center of Excellence. He has earned a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Electronic and Computer Engineering from University College Dublin. He also completed a Master of Science in Engineering, Science and Technology at the University of Notre Dame, where he was awarded a prestigious Naughton Fellowship.

David worked as a Hardware RTL & Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation, where he developed deep learning and computer vision technology. He also interned as an Algorithm Engineer at ResMed Sensor Technologies. After leaving Intel, he worked as a Senior Consultant - Data & AI at Avanade before becoming the US Operations Manager at Output Sports. David is also an Entrepreneurial Lead at University of Notre Dame, where his passion for technology and improving human health led him to work on developing innovative solutions.

He is skilled in managing and using Data & AI to drive business value and make informed decisions. David's areas of expertise include deep learning, computer vision, hardware design & optimization, and large-scale data analysis. He is interested in the intersection of technology and human health, and how machine learning can be used in healthcare to solve complex problems.
