Somil Kadakia
Somil Kadakia is a Vice President of Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, known for his expertise in Corporate Decarbonization Solutions, Asset-Backed Financing, and Leveraged Finance. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai and went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Earning experience in executing in large strategic transactions across industries, geographies, and product types, Mr. Kadakia has worked on several notable transactions. Some of his more noteworthy accomplishments include the largest wireless spectrum securitization, the acquisition financing of one of the largest cross-border asset-backed transactions, and structured high-yield and term-loan assets for natural resources companies.
In the past, Mr. Kadakia has worked as an Investment Banking Associate and an Investment Banking Analyst for Goldman Sachs. Prior to his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Kadakia held remote project internships at Alvarez & Marsal and served as a Research Analyst Intern for CB Insights. Additionally, he worked as an Investment Analyst at the University of Illinois.
