Yong Hyoung is a Korean innovator, entrepreneur, and founder of various successful internet communities, including cyworld.com, saycupid.com, and kukubox.com. He is renowned for inventing the concept of PRP and Social Process Reengineering, leading to the creation of Cyworld, a trust-based information-sharing network, and the first social network in South Korea. Yong has a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, one of the most prestigious universities in Korea.
Before founding Choreofactory, Yong held various executive roles and consulted for top companies such as SK Telecom, BCG Japan, Samsung Electronics, and Intellectual Ventures, among others. In addition to his numerous CEO positions, he was also a founding member of CMUNE, a game development company, and worked on the Korea Digital Rights Management standard.
