Meet Jon Hearty, a seasoned business development professional with an extensive background in the startup world. He is currently serving as BD at Mercury, the banking solution for startups, where he is responsible for driving growth and building relationships with clients. Prior to this, he was the head of business development at Origin where he was the 4th hire. Jon is an accomplished leader who has held various roles, from vice president of customer development to COO, at organizations such as DataNyze, ShareRoot, and Redbeacon. At Redbeacon, Jon was the 10th hire and contributed to its eventual acquisition by The Home Depot.

Jon earned his education at Stanford University, UC Santa Barbara, Rio Americano, and Folsom Lake College. Throughout his career, Jon has developed a remarkable expertise in business development, growth strategies, customer development, data analytics, and community management.
