Kirsten Spreck is a seasoned leader in the affordable housing industry, with experience spanning across various fields including real estate development and services, business operations, and internal consulting. Kirsten has a passion for community leadership and service and is known for her ability to simplify complex issues and turn them into practical solutions for driving results and relevance.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and has studied at the University of Minnesota, Augsburg, and St. Thomas. Kirsten has also earned Mini MBA degrees in Nonprofit Leadership and Government Leadership, as well as a Master's Degree in Leadership from Augsburg College.
Throughout her career, Kirsten has held various leadership positions, including Director of Housing Development at Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative and Vice President of Workforce Experience, Real Estate Development, Talent Management, Corporate Services, and Corporate Real Estate at Thrivent, where she was also Chief of Staff to the President and Chief of Operations for the General Counsel's Office. Kirsten was also Technical Services Director and Assistant to the Executive Director at St. Paul Public Housing Agency and an Accessibility Specialist at Courage Center. Kirsten has a collaborative and inclusive leadership style, and her focus is on developing potential and building strong relationships with stakeholders in the organizations she works with.
