Kumar Chandrashekaran is a senior at North Carolina State University who is interested in taking roles as an Operations Specialist or Business Analyst. He has an impressive background in operations, business analytics, market analysis, marketing, conflict management, team building, recruitment and hiring, and creative problem-solving. Kumar's passion for excellence in operations has led him to work and gain experience in much larger operations while utilizing new technologies and business analytics tools.<br><br>

Kumar has been immersed in business operations since childhood with his father's grocery business. They learned the precarious consequences of certain gaffes in the business which lead to closing all of their branches one by one. After his high school, Kumar opened a retail bakery and ran it for three years. Later, he went to culinary school and trained with Sheraton Hotels in India, then sailed around the world learning interpersonal skills, multitasking under pressure while gaining experience in team building, working with a diverse talent pool, and immersing in multiple cultures and viewpoints.<br><br>

Kumar became the first chef to cater and collaborate at the World Trade Center in New Orleans and the prestigious Audubon Tea Room and exclusive caterer to Marriott and Sheraton. Later, he switched gears into managing Quick Service Restaurants and rose in the ranks to become an executive chef managing the kitchen at The Taj Mahal Restaurant. He then became a business analyst at Cisco and is actively seeking a career where he can contribute his management skills in solving real business problems using his strong interpersonal and analytical skills. He is also pursuing a certification in data analytics.<br><br>

Kumar's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations and Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University, Business Administration, Business Administration, Management and Operations from Wake Technical Community College, a Cert in Project Management from North Carolina State University, and a High School Diploma from St. Antony's Higher Secondary School.<br><br>
