Neil Butera is currently the Senior Director and Global Head of Inside Sales for Parexel Biotech, a leading consulting firm that provides clinical and regulatory guidance to biotech companies for investigational drugs. With extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Neil has helped countless firms with their clinical trial needs, including oncology & hematology; central nervous system disorders; cardiovascular, metabolic, and infectious diseases.

Neil has also held numerous leadership positions within Parexel, including Director of Global Internal Business Development Team, Director of Customer Strategy, Americas - PAREXEL Consulting, and Associate Director of Business Development. Additionally, Neil was Chairman & Co-Founder of Its About Caring for Kids (IACKids), a foundation that supports pediatric oncology programs.

Neil's career began at Aerotek as a Sales / Recruiting professional and eventually transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry as Manager, Client Development for The Harris Poll (Harris Insights & Analytics). Neil later joined Parexel in various roles, including Director of Business Development at Ockham (now Chiltern) and Associate Director, Business Development, Clinical Research Services.

Neil earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management from St. John Fisher College. In addition to clinical trial support, Parexel can provide early commercial economic modeling, clearly defined market entry strategies, model-based adaptive trial design, genomic analysis, and accelerated development strategies.
