Simon Ashby is a music educator and entrepreneur who co-founded Audiokinetic, an audio technology company which eventually became a market leader in its category. With a Bachelor's degree in Music Teaching from Université Du Québec À Montréal, he started his career as a Senior Sound Designer at Ubisoft before co-founding Audiokinetic where he served as the Vice President of Products and later became the Head of Product.

Ashby's academic background in music and his sound design experience have been crucial to his successful entrepreneurial journey. He has been at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology for interactive and immersive audio experiences in the entertainment industry. Outside of Audiokinetic, Ashby has been a member of numerous industry organizations and has been a speaker at various conferences.
