Lindsey McCandless
Lindsey McCandless is an accomplished teacher, farmer, writer, and historian. She obtained a Ph.D. in ancient history and Mediterranean archaeology from the University of California, Berkeley, and studied Egyptology, ancient Greek, and classical studies at Brown University and University College Cork, respectively. With expertise in Bronze Age Aegean and classical studies, McCandless has taught at the university level and led student travel programs to Greece. She has also worked as a director of education and communications at Green Light Labs, a farmer and nursery steward at Hale Pule Ayurveda and Yoga, and a grant writer and ranch hand at Miss Me Not Farm. McCandless' diverse background is reflective of her passion for transformative learning experiences and teaching critical thinking skills.
