Simon de Bonviller

Simon de Bonviller is an economist with a profound interest in environmental and water-related matters, currently employed at Augurisk focusing on hazard assessment, climate change impact analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), and big data utilization.

Simon pursued his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Economics at Ecole nationale du Génie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement de Strasbourg. He also holds a Master's degree in Finance from Institut d'Etudes politiques de Strasbourg. Simon further enriched his academic background by studying Economics and Statistics at Georgetown University and English Studies and Media Sciences at Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen.

In his professional journey, Simon de Bonviller serves as the Lead Scientist at Augurisk, a role that allows him to contribute significantly to the organization's projects on risk assessment and environmental concerns. Previously, he engaged in a research stay at the University of Adelaide, focusing on Insider Trading on Water Markets. Simon also served as a Teaching Assistant at Sciences Po Strasbourg, where he imparted knowledge on methodologies. Besides, his academic pursuits included being a PHD Student at ENGEES and assisting in an Exchange Program at Georgetown University. Simon's experience also extends to Economic data collection at Université de Strasbourg.
