Heather Borowiak
Heather Borowiak, a versatile and experienced educator, has a background in workforce education and development with a focus on business. Borowiak is a former business teacher at Mt. Vernon Township High School and has also worked as a Legal Secretary at McAnany Van Cleave & Phillips. She has studied at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and Southwestern Illinois College, where she obtained an Associate of Arts degree, an AAS in Medical Office Specialist, and completed an internship as a student teacher.
Borowiak has been actively involved in several organizations, including Illinois Phi Beta Lambda, where she held the position of State President. She has experience as both a volunteer and a server, having worked at Elsie's Diner and Cracker Barrel, respectively. Borowiak has a passion for helping others, which is evident from her volunteering work at Fairfield Memorial Hospital and The Fountains of Troy, Good Neighbor Care.
