Peter Bohlin is a renowned architect and founding principal of the Bohlin Cywinski Jackson firm, which has offices in multiple cities across the United States. With an exceptional aesthetic and a responsiveness to the particularity of place, Peter's designs have received numerous awards and accolades for their flawless execution and artistic vision. He has pioneered the firm's constant design achievement, bringing a quiet rigor, both intellectual and intuitive, to his work.

Peter has an impressive educational record- Cranbrook Academy of Art and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he studied master of architecture and bachelor of architecture, respectively. Today, he serves as the president of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, leading conceptual design meetings and reviewing design issues throughout the project.

Peter has contributed significantly to the practice and theory of architecture. In 2010, he won the American Institute of Architects 2010 Gold Medal award Committee, the highest honor for an individual's contribution to the practice and theory of architecture. He has also been a guest design critic and visiting professor at several leading schools of architecture in the United States and overseas.
