Yongji Fu

Yongji Fu is a seasoned global technology and innovation leader in the medical device industry. With over 15 years of experience, he has held multiple R&D leadership roles at prominent global companies in the healthcare domain. Fu has been trained in both the US and China and served companies that originated from North America, Europe, and Asia. His experience covers respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, intravenous and subcutaneous infusion therapy, sleep disorder, patient mobility, and wound care. Fu holds a Ph.D. from the Biomedical Photonics Lab at OHSU in the United States, an M.S., and a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering at Tsinghua University in China. He has 50+ US/oversea patents (issued or pending) and 30+ research papers in top-level international journals and conferences. Fu is globally known as a senior subject matter expert in medical sensing technologies, machine learning/deep learning algorithms, physiological modeling, and wireless body area networks. He has earned credibility in the life science and artificial intelligence sectors by serving as an organizer for several international conferences, an invited speaker from top-tier universities, a research grant reviewer and a journal editorial board member. Currently, Fu is the Vice President and Head of R&D at B. Braun Group.
