Cloudleaf's Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, Alok Bhanot, is a global technology executive who has made significant contributions to the Payments and Commerce industry. With over two decades of experience building innovative products, businesses, and platforms, Bhanot has worked across the entire value chain as an executive, entrepreneur, and investor. Starting his career as a consultant in Visa, he later worked in various leadership roles, including CTO at Gradience, Inc. (acquired by FactSet), Director/Sr. Director, Architecture at eBay, Inc., and Vice President, Corporate Architecture at eBay, Inc. He also worked at PayPal as VP, Risk Technology, and at Verifone as EVP & CTO.

With a rich educational background, Bhanot studied Bachelor of Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and attended Delhi Public School in India. Bhanot has also founded two companies - Inkiru, Inc. (acquired by Walmart) and Qopper Inc. to solve transactional analytics and operational challenges for merchants and financial institutions. Currently, he is leveraging the power of real-time intelligence and decision-making by transforming global supply chains at Cloudleaf.
