Andrew Knyazev, a renowned expert in developing computer algorithms, boasts a wealth of experience in research, teaching, and consulting. With a PhD in Numerical Mathematics from the Marchuk Institute of Numerical Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and a BA/MS in Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Andrew has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, been issued 11 granted US patents, and has contributed to open-source projects such as SciPy and Scikit-Learn.

Andrew's areas of expertise span multiple fields, including math, ML, HPC, modelling, image and video processing, Big Data, bioinformatics, optimal control, material sciences, quantum and silicon photonics computing, computational finances, and more. He has secured over $1M in US NSF and DOE grant awards to support his six PhD students and has collaborated with national labs and industries such as Lawrence Livermore and Sandia Labs, among others.

In addition to his impressive accomplishments, Andrew is also an excellent teacher, having taught courses such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, Differential Equations, and more. He is also known for his troubleshooting skills and his ability to learn, understand, and explain new things quickly.

In his current role as a Sr. AI Research Scientist at Lightelligence and his past experience as a Senior Data Scientist at Cognomotiv, Andrew has demonstrated his coding prowess, using languages such as Fortran, Python, MATLAB, shell scripts, and machine languages.
