Sumner Truax is a creative and experienced instructor, problem solver, and social equality advocate. Currently pursuing a JD degree at the prestigious University of Michigan Law School, Truax has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in the arts, education, and development fields.

Truax holds a Master's Degree in Leadership from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Lawrence University. He has worked as an Instructor of Saxophone at Lawrence University and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Eastman School of Music. Furthermore, Truax has served as a Development Intern at Hochstein School of Music & Dance and Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.

Truax is passionate about using his skills to promote social equality in the world. His experience in the arts, education, and development spheres has given him a unique perspective on the ways in which creativity and learning can be harnessed to promote a more equitable and just society.
