Camille Fonseca
Camille Fonseca is a highly accomplished medical student in her second year at Emory University School of Medicine. Prior to matriculating at Emory, she received a Master's of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Yale School of Public Health, where she also earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. Camille has a well-rounded background in academic and research pursuits, with substantial expertise doing research on developmental disorders, emotional intelligence, and cancer at various academic institutions across the country. She has been a Cancer Research Training Fellow at National Cancer Institute (NCI), an undergraduate researcher at Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, and a Program Assistant for the Holman Community Development Corporation at Holman United Methodist Church, amongst many other roles. Camille is motivated to make a difference by improving interventions and therapies for children with developmental disorders and enhancing the wellbeing of children from underserved communities. Following a career in pediatrics, she aspires to work at the intersection of public health and medicine to improve healthcare equity and access for marginalized populations.
