Alexandra McGehee is a highly accomplished public policy professional with extensive experience in government, nonprofits, and international organizations. She holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington's prestigious Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, where she focused on international development, nonprofit management, policy analysis, and evaluation. She also earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Germanic Studies from the University of Maryland College Park and studied German Language and Literature at Freie Universität Berlin.

Throughout her career, Alexandra has held several key positions in the City of Seattle, including Operations Manager in the Office of Inspector General, Fiscal and Policy Analyst in the City Budget Office, and Program Analyst in the Seattle Police Department. She has also served as a DAAD EMGIP Bundestag Fellow in the German Parliament, where she gained invaluable experience in policymaking and legislative processes.

In addition to her professional experience in government, Alexandra has also worked as a Research and Planning Graduate Intern in the Seattle Municipal Court and a Board Fellow at ROOTS Young Adult Shelter. She has interned at the U.S. Department of State and worked as a German Catalog Specialist at Aerotek and a German Risk Management Specialist at Rylem, both at Amazon.
