Rachael Sherman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global sustainability, environmental management, and international affairs. She is the current Executive Director of Global Sustainability at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and was previously the Director of Global Sustainability at McDonald's. Sherman holds a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs with a focus on China Energy and Environment from Elliott School of International Affairs and an MBA in Environmental Management and Policy from The George Washington University School of Business. She has also studied Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University and Asian Area Studies at The University of British Columbia.

Prior to her current roles, Sherman has held several positions related to sustainability, including US-China Program at American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), China Sustainable Retail Supply Chains at Efficiency Exchange, and Sustainable Procurement and Green Office Program at George Washington University Office of Sustainability. She also worked on the China for a Global Shift project at World Wildlife Fund and on TRAFFIC Wildlife Trade issues with World Wildlife Fund.

In addition to her professional experiences, Sherman has developed skills in customer relations, sales and marketing through her previous positions as General Manager at The Yin Yang Community Center and Sales and Marketing Manager at The Real Life Renovation Company.
