Dave Baltaxe

Dave Baltaxe is a seasoned executive with an impressive track record of driving growth and profitability for companies across various industries. He has a strong background in finance, business strategy, and operations, and is known for his exceptional analytical and communication skills. Baltaxe has worked with leading brands such as LeapFrog, Disney, and UC, and has industry expertise in CPG, toys, retail, IoT, entertainment, education, gaming, software/SaaS, and technology.

Baltaxe has a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California- Marshall School of Business. He is currently the Executive Director of Budget & Finance at the University of California, where he leads the finance function and provides decision support to business operators and boards.

In his previous roles, Baltaxe held senior finance positions such as Vice President of Finance & Analytics, Senior Director of Sales and Operations Finance, and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at LeapFrog. He also served as the Head of Finance for the Europe-Middle East-Africa region and Senior Manager of Finance and Strategy at the Walt Disney Company’s Interactive Division.
