Carola Fellenz Thompson is a distinguished professional, known for her prowess in the field of User Experience (UX) design. She is a graduate of California State University, Chico where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MSc. in Computer Science. Her professional background spans over two decades, during which she held various leadership roles in renowned technology companies.

Carola began her career at Intellicorp as a Software Engineer and UI Designer before moving on to Objective Systems Integrators where she served as Manager of Human Interface Design. She then joined Sun Microsystems as Staff Engineer for Human Interface Design, and later worked as Senior Interaction Designer and Web Developer at Onebox.com.

In 2002, Carola was appointed as Instructor of Software Engineering Technology at Oregon Institute of Technology, where she taught software engineering and user experience design. During this time, she co-authored two books on user interface development.

She later joined Technidata America as Vice President of User Experience Research and Methods, where she was in charge of the company's UX team. Carola has also worked with companies like Mindjet, Zspace 3D, Splunk, and So Good Design where she currently serves as Managing Director.

Carola has also been involved in the academic community, dedicating her time as a Visiting Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury. Additionally, she was an Advisory Board member of Uxmatters.
