Beliz Gunel is a highly accomplished machine learning researcher, currently pursuing a PhD at Stanford University. She has previously held research intern positions at Facebook AI, Google, and Microsoft, in addition to interning at Amazon Lab126. Beliz began her academic journey studying high school on the math/science track at Izmir Fen Lisesi before moving on to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Her work experience also includes being an undergraduate researcher at the Berkeley Imaging Systems Laboratory. Beliz's research interests span a wide range and include politics, comedy, and machine learning.
