Alex Black is an accomplished professional who has made his mark in the technology and services industry. With a strong background in sales, delivery and practice management, he has held leadership positions at Microsoft, IBM and now LAB3 Solutions, where he serves as the Director of Sales. Black's journey began at The Peninsula School, where he completed his VCE and continued to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business and Information Technology from Monash University.
He started his career at IBM and later joined Microsoft, where he worked as the Asia Business Development Lead, Global Service Delivery Manager, and Practice Manager, among other roles. During his fourteen-year tenure at these companies, he has made valuable contributions to clients in various industries, helping them implement new technologies and transform their businesses. Black's experience with different companies and industries provides him with a unique understanding of clients' challenges and pain points when adopting new technologies.
His work at LAB3 Solutions is focused on providing elite resources and services across Cloud, Networking, and DevOps Automation. Black partners with clients to manage, deliver, and support them through their transformational journey, working to create client-centred organizations that deliver value. Additionally, he has experience working with Australia's well-known enterprise organisations. When he's not working, Black serves as a former Owner & Director of Caledonian Hotel and Bay Hotel & Social, indicating his business acumen extends beyond the technology industry.
