As a Developer Evangelist and Partner Relations Manager, my primary role was to work with our partners to help get them integrate our platform into their offerings. I also fielded all of the more technical questions for our Technical Support team. In addition, I wrote all documentation for the Placester plugin and the Placester API, wrote technical blog posts explaining the features of the product, engaged in social media, created videos explaining the use of the plugin and our themes, and much more.

During the program I worked on one team building a Social Status Clustering application. On another team I worked with Constant Contact to build out an integration between their Events and Survey platforms. I also created a few very popular videos for Boloco and Communispace.

As a Technical Evangelist my role was to grow and serve the Yottaa community of users and influencers by engaging web developers and systems engineers. I did that through webinars, user groups, social media, forums, faqs, etc. I also developed documentation and videos as needed by the Sales & Marketing groups. It was quite a varied role as it required the technical expertise to understand the technology of Yottaa, as well as the social skills to actively engage with the community.

As the International Technical Instructor for the Captaris group within OpenText, it was my role to  design and deliver consistent training for partners and distributors around the world. The training delivered targeted enterprise administrators, corporate developers, all the way to the end-user. Although OpenText is a very large company, I was the only instructor in the company covering all former Captaris products and the only instructor covering the Captaris products in regions outside of North America. I was responsible for all aspects of delivering training including scheduling, planning, delivery of equipment, design of virtual machines and networks, etc. In addition to the standard training, I created a video training website complete with 50+ videos on all aspects of our products. I was extremely active on the blog and various forms of social media, and I wrote whitepapers and customization guides focusing on Open Text products (Samples available at <a href="http://technovangelist.com/resume">technovangelist.com/resume</a>). I also developed Proofs of Concept for Open Text R&D demonstrating customer feedback suggestions.
