Jay Liao is a public policy professional with extensive experience in government and private sector consultation. Liao received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University and an MPP in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Liao has held positions such as Deputy Director at City and County of San Francisco-Our Children Our Families Council, Assistant Citywide Revenue Manager at San Francisco Office of the Controller, Economist at San Francisco Office of the Controller, Research Associate at Public Policy Institute of California, and Consultant at IBM.

Throughout Liao's professional career, they have utilized their analytical and research skills to conduct economic research and provide counsel in government entities and corporate consulting firms. As an expert in public policy, Liao holds extensive knowledge in program management, research methodology, data analysis, budget development, and project oversight.
