Soror Timeka G. is a seasoned professional in the field of inclusiveness and intercultural services, with a wealth of experience in student development, recruitment, counseling, and academic advising. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communication and Public Relations from the University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington), where she also served in various capacities such as the Student Programming Director, NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills Coordinator, and Asst. Director for Recruitment and Professional Programs at UT Arlington Fort Worth Center. Moreover, she also taught EDUC 1131 and provided academic advising services to undergraduates.
Subsequent to her Bachelor's degree, she pursued a Master of Science in Human Services (Counseling) at Capella University. Since then, she has held several leadership positions at Texas Christian University (TCU), including Director for Inclusiveness and Intercultural Services, Associate Director for Inclusiveness and Intercultural Services & Director of Community Scholars, and Assistant Director for Inclusiveness and Intercultural Services & Director of Community Scholars. In these roles, her responsibilities spanned from strategic planning and development of programs to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive environment for students from underrepresented backgrounds.
