Jonah Greenthal is a skilled software developer with a background in math and analytics. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and has pursued further studies in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Mathematics Teaching at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Greenthal has diverse experience in software development, starting with his role as a Developer at ExtendASP and more recently as a Senior Software Engineer at Fixer, a technology-driven home-improvement startup. In addition to his work at Fixer, he is also involved with National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT), a company that writes questions and runs tournaments for quizbowl contests. Here, he designs, writes, and edits software solutions to support tournament registration, results operations, question-writing, and customer relations.
Apart from his work at Fixer and NAQT, Greenthal has also held a Mobile Apps Analyst role at Facebook, where he focused on the iOS app. His background in mathematics and analytics has also seen him work as an Information Security Intern at Health Care Service Corporation. Greenthal has a wealth of experience working with tools and programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, React, SQL, Perl, regular expressions, Latex, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
