Elena Gillis is a seasoned Gender Equality and Diversity & Inclusion specialist with extensive international development experience spanning nearly a decade. She is the Chief Executive Officer of EGillis Consulting LLC, an organization committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion solutions that work for leadership, employees, and clients alike. Her academic background includes a Master of Arts in International Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, both from The George Washington University. Elena's expertise includes Power Analysis, Gender Analysis, Gender-Based Violence, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Training & Facilitation, and Leadership Coaching, among others. She also has extensive experience in Humanitarian Programming, Nonprofit Consulting, Writing, and Copyediting. Before joining her consulting firm, Elena worked at various organizations, including Adeso, Tahirih Justice Center, and the International Rescue Committee, where she held multiple roles such as Gender Specialist, Regional Gender Equality Advisor (Middle East), and Senior Associate of the Gender Equality Unit.
