Vasantha Penumutchu is a seasoned IT and telecom professional with over 16 years of experience in the industry. His last 9 years have been focused on data management and business intelligence solutions. He is well-versed in data architect activities, ETL strategies, data modeling, maintain metadata repositories, data quality and security.

He has substantial experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and services such as S3, EC2, VPC, IAM, Redshift, Glue, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Glacier, Athena, and AWS Transfer for SFTP. Vasantha is knowledgeable in the use of AWS CLI and AWS Transfer for SFTP for file transferring/data ingestion to S3 and S3 Glacier, as well as migrating on-premises MS SQL to RDS and Redshift. He is also experienced in retrieving data using AWS Athena.

He is also knowledgeable in SQL Server DBA activities such as DB objects creation, replication, log-shipping, monitoring IO and memory issues, monitoring job alerts, replication alerts, storage, server performance, and more.

His experience includes tuning large-scale telecom data sets and high-volume daily transactions (CDRs, TDRs, Recharge Data, IPLogs, EDR,…etc.). He has hands-on experience in translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Vasantha also possesses an excellent understanding of the various aspects of the application lifecycle, such as planning, designing, implementation, execution, and analysis.

He has excellent interpersonal skills in communication and managing client relations. Vasantha has a good understanding of machine learning algorithms such as linear and logistic regression, random forest, and time series analysis (ARIMA) and data exploration analysis (DEA).

Vasantha studied MCA at Bharathidasan University and BSc Electronics at Acharya Nagarjuna University.
