Cheryl Couch-Thomas is a highly-educated and experienced professional in the fields of Christian education and library and information science. She holds dual master's degrees from Union Presbyterian Seminary and the University of North Texas, and a bachelor's degree in German and history from Austin College. Cheryl's specialties include exegetical research, curriculum writing, networking, and teaching various age groups, with a particular emphasis on children from birth through age 12. She has held a variety of positions in her career, including Director of Children's Ministry at Genesis United Methodist Church, Bringer of Order and Happiness at Heartland Center, and Director of Children and Family Ministry at Village Presbyterian Church. Cheryl has also volunteered her time and expertise as a Resource Specialist at Heartland Presbytery - Church Resource Center and as a Ruling Elder at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church. She has worked in several library settings, including as a Collection Development Librarian at William Jewell College, Catalog Librarian and Technical Services Supervisor at the Kansas City, Ks Public Library.
