Currently consulting as sole proprietor (Washington Lic#: 604376192 as of 1/1/2019)  in Seattle.Most recently finished (May 2019) a consulting contract to two Seattle start-ups during which I automated a client-facing marketing analytics dashboard using Alteryx.  The buildout, implementation, and execution of the Alteryx workflows enabled 1,537 updated reports of which over 1,177 were possible through Alteryx in comparison to the 360 which would have been possible in the same amount of time (40 weeks) with just Excel - a 327% increase in the number of report updates. Founder & Chief Enterprise Architect

- Gathered and analyzed business requirements for REI’s BI enterprise data warehouse including a transactional email refresh project (including working with UX/marketing and observing UAT), NextGen IDW migration to Snowflake, BlueCore email capture for personalization, GDPR/CCPA access request backend development, and a vendor legacy scorecard.•	Used SQL queries in various platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Netezza/Aginity, and Microsoft SQL Server) to prepare data models in MS Excel and Visio for the above-mentioned EDW projects.•	Guided the use of data mapping for GDPR/CCPA access and erasure requests. Reviewed IDW and non-IDW databases enterprise-wide for Privacy/Legal review of over 850 fields mapped to a template customer access report.  Created the first GDPR/CCPA access reports managed in OneTrust from 60+ SQL pulls and Visio process mapping and requirements tracking in preparation for automation of these key enterprise reporting processes for customer PII rights.

Business Intelligence System Analyst

Continuous iterative exploration and investigation of past business performance in information risk management within Amgen's Global Information Protection (GIP) department (formerly the Cybersecurity, Architecture, Risk & Engineering (CARE) department) to gain insight and drive business planning for more effective and efficient information risk management. Utilized data analytics along with Alteryx and Tableau on departmental risk databases to assess GIP (and CARE) processes and procedures for managing information security risk for third party relationships. Reported on analytics with recommendations on data mapping improvements and database reconfigurations for enhanced information risk management. Surveyed corporate documents against ISO domains and Amgen security controls, as well as, assisting Director with annual security policy review.  Created innovative project charter and executive prospectus for text analytics project automating security control reviews and risk assessments utilizing IBM Watson Explorer Content Analytics and IBM Watson Knowledge Studio services. Trained and introduced GIP staff to the capabilities of Alteryx, Tableau, and IBM Watson.

Interviewed and analyzed vendor offerings and facilitated procurement. Conducted in-depth analysis of high-profile personalities and major donor prospects, including wealth assessments, giving proclivities, giving patterns, professional achievements, and personal interests.

Contracted to create public-private partnerships engaging businesses in career and technical education and to provide expertise in resource development – specifically, crafting strategic plans for resource development, writing development communications, and coaching and training board members for development. Developed support for the foundation’s federal $300K State Scholars Initiative grant – Commonwealth Scholars, which pairs business members and schools for encouraging students to take more rigorous coursework in high school.

Served as chief development officer responsible for generating relationships, financial resources, and operational support to extend the organization’s missions globally with oversight of all development functions and a development team consisting of a grant writer, major donor consultant, database manager, and administrative assistant, as well as, leading organizational development projects.  Managed budget formulation, presentation and execution for the Foundation’s technological development functions and programs.
