Bill McNee is a well-respected thought leader and business strategy consultant with a rich professional background of over 25 years in the software, services, and media industries. He served as the CEO of Saugatuck Technology for 15 years before it was acquired by Information Services Group (ISG), after which he became a Partner at ISG. While at both Saugatuck and ISG, he led a team of industry analysts and strategy consultants to focus on the most important emerging and disruptive trends in enterprise IT, including next-gen digital technologies and how they are shaping new businesses, products, and go-to-market strategies. He is an expert on cloud ERP/financials, cloud analytics/planning/budgeting, data science/artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), cloud infrastructure, information architecture, and the future of work. He also has a long-term interest in how the Office of the CFO can gain greater value from technology and how the Finance function is being transformed by technology.

Before joining Saugatuck, Bill spent 12 years at Gartner in several capacities. He was GVP and Research Fellow leading the firm's Business/IT Management practice in his last five years. Earlier at Gartner, he led Product Strategy after several years as an industry analyst focusing on enterprise software strategies.

Bill holds rich personal interests, such as traveling, sports (especially golf), photography, and the beach. He is a dedicated husband of more than 25 years and is the proud father of three accomplished daughters, two of whom have graduated from college and have their careers.
