Caitlin MacLean is a financial expert and the Senior Director of Innovative Finance at the Milken Institute. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on finance from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a bachelor's degree from The New School. Before joining the Milken Institute, Caitlin worked in the for-profit sector, managing marketing campaigns and communication strategies for Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, she has experience in the nonprofit sector, managing fundraising and program administration for arts development organizations. Caitlin spearheads the Financial Innovations Labs at the Milken Institute that promotes financial solutions to address various economic and social challenges. The results from these labs include the creation of new investment funds to support biomedical research and the implementation of government policies to facilitate the growth of the renewable energy sector. She has co-authored many lab reports and related journal articles.
