Diane Mueller
Diane Mueller is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience designing and implementing applications for mission-critical financial and manufacturing systems for F500 corporations. She is currently the Director of Community Development at Red Hat, focusing on driving community initiatives and cross-community collaboration to ensure the success of OpenShift, Operators, OKD, OpenStack, and other cloud initiatives. Mueller is also the founder of OpenShift Commons, a new ecosystem-based open-source platform that focuses on creating healthy and engaged peer-to-peer connections. In addition to her work at Red Hat, Mueller also founded GetMakered Labs to help launch hyper-local mobile makerspaces to make technology more accessible and help connect people to new technology by making interactive experiences possible anywhere. She is also a former member of the Board of Directors at XBRL International, Inc.
Mueller has a Bachelor of Arts degree in COINS and WOST from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has studied Executive Finance at The University of British Columbia. She is a long-time XBRL evangelist and supporter of Open Government and Transparency initiatives.
