Glenn Cowan is a highly accomplished and experienced individual with an extensive background in the fields of national security and critical infrastructure technology innovation. Having studied International Relations, History, and Ivey Leadership Program, Cowan is an expert in his field, with years of operational military experience at the forefront of special operations and national security operations. As the founder of ONE9, Canada’s first security-focused venture capital fund, Cowan provides unparalleled access to proprietary deal flow emanating from compartmentalized programs in the Five-Eyes defence, security, and intelligence communities.

Leveraging a unique and agile ‘Task Force’ of subject matter experts, Cowan offers clients and partners the necessary knowledge and advisory skills to navigate the complex world of bringing products to market for defense and security end-users. Before founding ONE9, Cowan worked as a Senior Managing Partner at Hedgewood Legacy Holdings and served as an Officer at Canadian Armed Forces - Forces armées canadiennes.
