David Pike is a former food and beverage industry entrepreneur turned recruiter, with over 25 years of experience in the field. He began his career running family cafes and restaurants in London and Portsmouth while learning the importance of selecting top-quality food and beverages demanded by customers. Pike moved on to the fruit juice and coffee supply arena and sought out the best growers and suppliers worldwide, travelling to Florida and Israel to buy juices and Germany and the USA to procure equipment. Jacobs, a large German coffee producer, then approached him to market a new coffee product in the UK. Pike's clients were hotels, restaurants, motorway service restaurants, sports clubs, universities, and airports. Pike eventually moved into the recruitment industry, working for several different firms, and has now launched his own food and beverage recruitment website, Food and Bev Recruiter.
