Roberta Gomez
Roberta Gomez is a driven medical student at Emory University School of Medicine with a passion for practicing medicine in underserved communities and improving the healthcare system in the United States. She is currently serving as a Medical Student Senate senator, Vice President of the Student National Medical Association (Emory Chapter), and a Spanish teacher for the Medical Spanish Interest Group. Alongside her studies, Roberts is also a Group Fitness Spinning Instructor at Emory Athletics.
Prior to attending Emory, Roberts earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med/Economics from Cornell University, and completed various internships including one at Verizon. She has also worked as a tutor/mentor at Southside Community Center, an Administrative Assistant at Johnson School of Management, Cornell University, and participated in the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP).
At Weill Cornell Medical College, Roberts was a Travelers Summer Research Fellow. She is a dedicated individual with a diverse set of skills and experiences that she intends to apply in her pursuit of a career in medicine.
