Rochael Adranly
Meet Rochael Adranly, an accomplished lawyer and artist with extensive experience in intellectual property transactions. She currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Partner at IDEO, where she negotiates contracts for creative individuals and provides legal representation for copyright, licensing, and first amendment issues. Rochael has also taught law courses at various universities, including UC Berkeley School of Law, where she served as a lecturer, and UC Hastings College of Law, where she was an adjunct professor.
Her impressive academic background includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) and Masters of Law (LLM) from Duke University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Texas Christian University. Besides law, Rochael is also an artist herself, with works in photography, writing, documentary filmmaking, drawing, and painting.
Throughout her career, Rochael has been an active member of several organizations, including Global Women in VC, TechGC, Aspen Institute Business & Society Program, and Bay Area Women in Film. Before joining IDEO, she worked as an associate at prestigious law firms, including Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, and Fulbright & Jaworski.
