Zachery Tyson Brown is a strategic futurist focused on national security, defense, and disruptive technologies. A U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, Zach has worked as both a contractor and civil servant in the defense and intelligence communities. He is a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project and a Board Member of the Military Writers Guild. Zach most recently graduated from the National Intelligence University, where he received the LTC Michael D. Kuszewski Award for Outstanding Thesis on Operations-Intelligence Partnership for his thesis "Adaptive Intelligence for an Uncertain Age." In addition to being the founder of Consilient Strategies, Zach has held positions such as Intelligence Team Lead and Strategic Intelligence Advisor at the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
