Camille Saltman is a prominent figure in the world of entrepreneurship and technology. As the Managing Director of Entrepreneurship@UBC, Okanagan Campus she has been instrumental in coaching 53 ventures that have raised more than $2.2M and hired 88 people. A graduate from Ryerson University's Bachelor of Applied Arts program in Journalism, Camille's career spans over two decades where she led two successful technology companies, MD Revolution and Malama Composites in California. She also co-founded the Wireless Life Science Alliance and was its President for six years, a board member of BIOCOM, California's life sciences trade organization, and Vice Chair of the San Diego Telecom Council, now Evonexus, California's most successful non-profit start-up tech incubator. Camille's accomplishments have helped ignite San Diego to become one of the leading biotech/tech economies in the world, where she fostered 50 accelerators across the globe. Her professional experience includes journalism, advertising, marketing, and more. Her knowledge and passion make her an asset to any organization.
