Jack Lin is a highly accomplished General Counsel with a strategic mindset and rich international legal and business experience. He has successfully navigated various competitive industries, including high-tech, biotech, and highly-regulated sectors. Lin is fluent in Mandarin and has managed business and legal operations in the U.S. and China. He has developed deep collaborative working relationships with colleagues and senior management across organizations. Currently, he serves as Head of Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs and is part of the executive team at DeepMap, leading the company to greater success.

Lin is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence. He also has a Master of Arts in Biochemistry from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. In his previous roles, Lin has been a consultant at DeepMap, Inc., an Adviser & Corporate Secretary at Enigma Micro, Inc., the Senior Counsel at Cisco, the Director of Legal Affairs at Viptela, Inc., the Corporate Counsel / Patent Program Manager at Varian Medical Systems, Inc., and a Patent Agent at Wilson & Ham.

Some of his notable achievements include successfully guiding Viptela through a $610M acquisition by Cisco and supporting Enterprise Networking and Security products at Cisco. Lin has also led the patent strategy, portfolio management, and IP risk management at Varian Medical Systems, a Fortune 1000 medical device company with global presence.
