Jeremy Schoenwaelder is a seasoned corporate innovation leader who has held key positions with prominent companies such as Henkel, Amazon, and IKEA. With a diverse educational background that includes an MBA from EBS Universität, a negotiation mastery certificate from Harvard Business School, and a Dr. rer. oec. candidacy from HHL Leipzig Graduate School, Jeremy possesses a wealth of knowledge in corporate venture building, sustainability, and open innovation.

At Henkel, Jeremy is the Global Open Innovation Lead at Henkel dX Ventures, where he spearheads innovation strategies and manages relationships with start-ups, venture capitalists, and other innovation partners. He is also a former Global Digital Commerce & Open Innovation Strategist at HenkelX and has held other senior management positions in the past.

Prior to his tenure with Henkel, Jeremy served as the Head of Business Process Management eCommerce at IKEA Group and held various leadership roles at Amazon, including Head of Sales and European Marketplace Specialist. During his time with these companies, Jeremy gained exceptional skills in agile leadership, design thinking, corporate innovation, and investor pitch development.

Outside of his professional life, Jeremy has done community service at the Universitätsklinikum Bonn, Pädiatrische Hämatologie und Onkologie. He is fluent in German, English, and Spanish and enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with his family.
