Gregor Novak

Gregor Novak is an experienced executive in the Power industry with nearly 20 years of experience working for Slovenia's national electricity companies. He has vast knowledge in electricity utility management, regulatory framework of electricity sector, technical operations, information and communication specifics in power engineering sector, blockchain technologies, and more.

Mr. Novak studied Power Engineering at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and pursued his Masters in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. He has also held prestigious positions such as CIO at Borzen, power market operator, ICT Director at ELES, d.o.o. Transmission System Operator in the Republic of Slovenia, CEO and Chief Innovation Officer of SONCE energija d.o.o., and CEO at SunContract. His latest venture, SONCE Group, is an EPC and IPP company that has completed over 500 solar energy turnkey projects and invested millions in solar and energy efficiency projects.
