Oliver currently serves as the Country Head of Japan at CLSA and leads its Equities Business in Japan, with an aim to expand its footprint in the region.

Oliver's career spans across various industries, including finance, equity research, and blue-chip companies, where he has held several management roles, mostly in marketing. He is widely recognized for his expertise in internet/telecoms, analyzing trends, markets, channels, and companies. He has an extensive network of investor and corporate contacts globally, particularly in Asia, particularly Japan, Korea, and China.

Oliver has received several accolades throughout his illustrious career, including the 2019 No.2 Japan Telecom Analyst stock picking (Starmine, Reuters), Asia Money No.1 Japan Consumer Staples & Discretionary, and the 2018 No.1 Japan Telecom Analyst stock picking (Starmine, Reuters), among others. He is fluent in Mandarin and Japanese and holds a degree from the University of Cambridge.
