William Chan boasts over two decades of experience as a financial market expert and hedge fund industry professional. Currently serving as the President of Ale & Wang, Inc., a leading global investment and risk consulting firm, William's notable work history includes serving as Senior Vice President and Director of Risk Management at Paloma Partners, a prestigious hedge fund located in Greenwich, Connecticut. Here, he was responsible for overseeing risk limits, evaluating portfolio construction and asset allocation, and providing risk analysis services to various trading groups in addition to day-to-day management of various risk management issues affecting the fund. Before joining Paloma Partners, William worked at several financial institutions, including Standard Chartered Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of America, CIBC Oppenheimer, and The Chase Manhattan Bank, where he served in various positions, including trading risk manager, independent consultant, senior risk analyst, derivative structurer, instructor, quantitative analyst, and second vice president.
