Mauricio Varela is an accomplished Interaction Designer with a strong background in software engineering and graphic design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica and a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Universidad Veritas. With a passion for creating effective and user-friendly solutions to real-world problems, Mauricio has worked as a UX architect and Interaction Designer at Intel Corporation, Business Analyst and UX Designer at Intel Corporation, and a Web developer at Publicomer. He also co-founded Defter Sports and worked as a Frontend Engineer at Backbase. In addition to his work, Mauricio has experience coaching Agile (DevOps / Scrum / kanban / lean) and user experience to teams.
