After 40 years as an editor in trade book publishing, with the last 28 years as a VP and executive editor at Penguin Random House, I struck out on my own in January of 2020 as a freelance writer, editor and consultant.  I ghostwrote Twelve's lead title on their fall list, Inside the NRA, an expose with Joshua Powell, until recently chief strategist and chief of staff to executive director Wayne LaPierre, which we wrote on a crash schedule to publish in the Fall of 2020.
