He gained recognition as the founder and former CEO of The Hain Celestial Group, a leading global organic and natural products company that generated over $3 billion in net sales during his tenure. Currently, Simon is the Chairman and CEO of Aphria Inc., a global cannabis company, and serves as Presiding Director at MDC Partners Inc., a provider of marketing and communications solutions. Moreover, he holds the position of Executive Chairman at Whole Earth Brands, which focuses on the “better-for-you” consumer packaged goods and ingredients market. His achievements extend beyond the business world, as he is the majority owner of Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, a QMJHL team, and co-owner of St. John’s Edge in the National Basketball League of Canada.
